Feijóo urges his partners to end Sánchez's rule

If the Prime Minister's associates decide to keep him in power, knowing of the serious indications of irregular behavior among his inner circle and closest collaborators, they will be equally responsible for each and every one of their actions.
The unbearable chain of scandals related to alleged corruption within the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) and the government, and smear campaigns against judges and senior officials in the police and Civil Guard, has led the opposition leader to call on other political forces to unite to put an end as soon as possible to the terrible degradation of institutions caused by Pedro Sánchez. Alberto Núñez Feijóo even raised the possibility of presenting a motion of censure against the Prime Minister, who came to power in June 2018 with the promise of regenerating Spanish political life but has done the exact opposite.
At the same time, he has called for a demonstration in Madrid on June 8 to demand the president's resignation. Sánchez came to power thanks to the victory of the no-confidence motion based on a ruling by the National Court that confirmed the PP's secret slush fund, but which was later overturned by the Supreme Court. This initiative was defended from the podium by José Luis Ábalos, currently facing prosecution for alleged crimes of belonging to a criminal organization, influence peddling, bribery, and embezzlement. It received the support of Podemos, ERC, PdeCat (now Junts), PNV, Compromís, Bildu, and Nueva Canarias.
Along with Sumar, which is part of the government, these parties can no longer remain oblivious to the damage to democracy caused by a president who is arrogant and indifferent to the public outcry against him. If they decide to keep him in power, knowing the serious indications of irregular behavior among his inner circle and closest collaborators, they will be equally responsible for each and every one of their actions.
