Ciudad Juárez, Chih., Near the end of the match, Salomón Rondón took advantage of an error to score the winning goal, in Pachuca's 2-1 comeback win over Monterrey in the play-in , with which they secured a place in the playoffs of the 2025 Clausura tournament.

Los Tuzos will face América in the quarterfinals, while Rayados still have a chance to qualify by playing against Pumas, who beat Juárez in the play-in , the last ticket to the big party.

Germán Berterame put Rayados ahead with an acrobatic shot in the 51st minute, following a cross to the far post by Jesús Corona.

Eduardo Gabriel equalized for the visitors in the 82nd minute, taking advantage when the opposing defense was looking for an offside position and being set up in the box to seal the win with a low shot.

Meanwhile, Rondón scored the winning goal in the 87th minute, thanks to goalkeeper Esteban Andrada's inability to control a long-range shot, which left the ball inside the area, where the Venezuelan striker arrived to finish with an open goal.

Andrada was booed by the disappointed Rayada fans because the goalkeeper was inept in the two saves that cost the Monterrey team goals.

Rayados missed veteran Sergio Ramos in the final stretch of the match, having been sidelined due to an injury in the final match of the regular season against León. The Monterrey team is hoping for the return of the star Spanish defender to host Pumas next weekend.

Milwaukee. Myles Turner scored 23 points and the Indiana Pacers won 129-103 to take a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks, who lost Damian Lillard to a left leg injury.

The Pacers can eliminate Milwaukee in the first round for the second straight year if they win Game 5 tomorrow in Indianapolis. Meanwhile, the Bucks have lost eight consecutive playoff games on the road, with the last five coming in Indiana.

Milwaukee could try to end that streak without Lillard. The seven-time All-NBA point guard was helped off the court and into the locker room after suffering a non-contact injury midway through the first quarter.
