Apertura 2025: results, relegations, and the standings after matchday 15

The 15th matchday of the group stage of the 2025 Apertura came to an end. Among the highlights, Boca Juniors, River Plate, and Racing Club all earned new victories. San Lorenzo drew against Riestra on the road, while Independiente lost to Atlético Tucumán due to heavy rain. Two matches remain.
To start, the champions of this season's Apertura, Clausura, and Copa Argentina will qualify for the next edition of the Copa Libertadores. Outside of these teams, the top two in the standings will also qualify for the CONMEBOL tournament.
Additionally, the third-place team will play in the playoffs. So far, these three clubs are: Boca Juniors, Rosario Central, and Argentinos Juniors. Gago's team leads Group A of the Apertura, while Canalla leads Group B.
The teams finishing in 4th through 9th place will compete in the Copa Sudamericana. They are: Independiente, Huracán, San Lorenzo, River Plate, Tigre, and Racing Club. There are 18 matches remaining in the regular season.
Finally, there will be two relegations this season. The worst team currently in the league is San Martín de San Juan, and the worst team in the standings is Aldosivi.
Matchday 15 of the Apertura group stage will begin on Saturday the 26th with a match between Aldosivi and Banfield at 3:00 PM in Mar del Plata. The match will conclude on Tuesday the 29th at 7:00 PM with a clash between Platense and Talleres in Vicente López.
