In a television interview, the CEO of YPF mistakenly mentioned the date chosen for Franco Colapinto's return to Formula 1.

Motorsports fans in Argentina are closely followingFranco Colapinto 's developments and his chances of racing for the Alpine team in Formula 1. In that regard, the exact date of this event was revealed in the last few minutes.

The incident occurred on Eduardo Feinmann's A24 program, during an on-air interview with YPF CEO Horacio Marín, one of the Argentine driver's strongest sponsors. At one point during the interview, the host asked when Franco would return to racing , but received an evasive response.

If confirmed, the Pilar-born rider's return to the top category would take place on the weekend of May 18th, at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. This is the date after the Miami Grand Prix, where the youngster will not be in the pits.

Jack Doohan finished the Saudi Arabian GP in 17th place , completing a string of races with a weak performance, but this didn't stop Alpine's bosses from supporting their rider, as evidenced by the latest action they showed on social media.
