The Pedagogy student murdered in Tarímbaro has been identified.

MORELIA, Mich. (apro).- A university student of Pedagogy, identified as Alejandra, was murdered in the municipality of Tarímbaro. Her body, covered in blankets and showing signs of strangulation, was abandoned in the dirt road leading from the town of San Pedro de los Sauces to Campestre Monarca.

According to unofficial reports, the victim was 34 years old and, in addition to studying, worked at a call center. Her remains were found Wednesday morning by nearby neighbors, who reported the incident to the emergency line.

The investigation was initiated by specialists from the Crime Scene and Forensic Services Unit (USPEC), who transported the body to the Semefo (Semefo) facilities. Following the corresponding investigations, the victim's identity was determined on Thursday, and the body was returned to his family.

For its part, the Attorney General's Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE) reported that in a joint operation with the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), Ministry of National Defense (Defense) and National Guard (GN), an arrest warrant was executed against Víctor Alfonso "N", known as El Tilico, for his alleged involvement in the crimes of femicide and abortion, committed against the young woman María Alejandra E., who was 8 months pregnant.

According to investigations, on June 2, the victim left her home with her 9-year-old daughter when she was intercepted by the now-detained man, who threatened her with a firearm and forced her and the girl to move to a gap located between the towns of El Platanal and Canindo, where he physically and sexually assaulted her in front of the girl. She was able to escape, but her mother's lifeless body was later found.

The FGE reported that after his arrest, El Tilico will be held in the Penitentiary Center to be placed at the disposal of the court that requests him and to resolve his legal situation.
