In the town of Llano Largo, the rains caused flooding of about 20 centimeters in the Misión del Mar housing unit owned by the Casas Ara real estate company.

At midnight yesterday, the state government reported that a shelter had been set up at the church in the Venustiano Carranza neighborhood of Coyuca de Benítez, on the Costa Grande, where 37 people, including 15 children and three senior citizens, are being sheltered due to the risk of their homes collapsing.

In addition, a tree fell in front of the City Hall building due to strong gusts of wind.

In the Cerro Prieto community of Atoyac de Álvarez, strong winds blew the tin roofs off five homes.

Residents reported that this community and its surrounding areas do not have electricity.

In the Montaña and Costa Chica regions, severe damage was reported on the Buena Vista–Cuixinipa road in the municipality of Acatepec, and the Pumarosa–El Salto section in the municipality of Ayutla de los Libres is closed due to a landslide.

Civil Protection and State Police personnel removed rocks and trees that fell early in the morning on the Chilpancingo–Zumpango and Chilpancingo–Acahuizotla highways.
