Yucatan Lions, without Ramos

The Yucatan Lions arrived in Puebla, but not with good news.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced yesterday that Puerto Rican outfielder Henry Ramos, who had been one of their top hitters at the start of the season, will not play in any of the series against the Pericos due to health reasons.
For the first game of the series at Angelopolis's "Hermanos Serdán" Stadium, manager Ramón Santiago sent American Winton Bernard to center field, who acted as the leadoff hitter.
Ramos is batting .386 with four home runs and 14 RBIs.
The one who did make his debut with the Lions was Cuban Diosbel Arias, who was placed seventh in the order, defending shortstop.
Ramos is expected to rejoin the team when the tour extends to Cancun this weekend, against the Tigres de Quintana Roo.
To Arizona
The Lions also reported that Jonathan Bernal, who just made his debut as a starter a few days ago, was signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.— Gaspar Silveira M.
