EU and UK radiate: we want to continue working together again
- The United Kingdom and the European Union reach an agreement that will improve their mutual relationship.
- The distribution of fishing rights is regulated until 2038, and fewer border controls will soon be required on agrifood.
- A security and defence pact was also concluded, which will allow the UK to later participate in the EU rearmament fund SAFE.
The Brexit deal reached on Monday regulates the future distribution of fishing rights and removes some border controls. It should above all show that London and Brussels are once again 'neighbours, allies, partners and friends'.
