BNP Paribas reports that the simplest doughnut can cost 1 PLN in a discount store, and at least 5 PLN in a bakery. Artisan products can cost at least a dozen or so PLN. "Despite rising costs, most of us will certainly be tempted by at least one doughnut," explains BNP Paribas. HREIT estimates that a traditional doughnut should currently cost 5.17 PLN. Poles will spend around 200 million PLN on them in just one day.
