A large, significant road investment for the region is ready [PHOTOS]

Przeworsk County contributed PLN 2,221,407.13 for this project. The project was supported by the Zarzecze commune, which contributed PLN 1,917,178.97, and the town and commune of Kańczuga (their contribution was PLN 304,225), but the implementation of such a large undertaking would not have been possible without a massive injection of PLN 17,238,100 from the Government Road Development Fund. The investment began in September of last year and was associated with some disruptions for drivers. It included: widening the roadway to 5.5 meters, and in some areas up to 5.75 meters, providing standard grades, correcting curves and increasing the surface's load-bearing capacity, constructing or rebuilding concrete paving sidewalks at least 2 meters wide, rebuilding conflicting underground and above-ground utilities, and constructing a new 15-meter-long bridge on the border of the Kańczuga and Zarzecze municipalities. Additionally, the project included: desilting and rebuilding the storm sewer system, repairing and rebuilding the exit ramps, modernizing the lighting and installing new lamps during the construction of the roundabout, and constructing and rebuilding parking spaces. Although the planned completion date was set for the end of September of this year, the contractor, PBI Infrastruktura, managed to finish ahead of schedule.
