Positive changes in the surroundings of the Museum in Jarosław Kamienica Orsettich were possible thanks to the agreement for the renovation of the garden, signed by the Jarosław district office with the Leroy Merlin Polska Foundation. As the director of the facility, Konrad Sawiński, says, the creation of a pocket park has been a great dream of museum workers for years. The patronage of the Leroy Merlin Polska Foundation allowed this idea to become a reality. It is worth adding here that the pocket garden is not the first effect of the foundation's support for the museum. In 2023, it helped to renovate the temporary exhibition hall.

The first works on creating the garden started last year. The first step was to develop a design by Anna Olkis from the Landscape Architecture Studio "Dobra Przestrzeń". At the initial stage, the courtyard area also had to be tidied up, which was done last autumn by employees of the Municipal and Housing Enterprise in Jarosław. The next step was planting, which had to wait until May due to the late spring this year. A total of 700 plant seedlings were planted in the garden adjacent to the museum located in the Renaissance tenement house of the Orsettis.

The design of the garden greenery refers to the style of Renaissance gardens with characteristic embroidery parterres.
