A weekend on double throttle
The weekend of May 17 and 18 ended very unpleasantly for several drivers – with their driving license confiscated, a visit to the police station and serious consequences.
On the night from Saturday to Sunday, just after midnight, a BMW passenger car caught the attention of the patrol in Czeszów. The driver suddenly pulled over to the side of the road when he saw the police car. The officers immediately became suspicious – and rightly so. The 33-year-old resident of our district had over 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. Although he was not completely drunk, his condition absolutely did not allow him to drive a car. He lost his driving license on the spot, and his car was taken over by an acquaintance he indicated.
