I was attacked by actor Jacek Kopczyński - informed Law and Justice MP Dariusz Matecki. The actor has already heard the charges. He claims that the course of events was different than the politician presented.
Dariusz Matecki reported the event on social media. He wrote that he was eating dinner at the bar in the Poselski Hotel. While he was eating soup, talking to PiS and Konfederacja MPs, an aggressive man approached him and shouted: "Ziobro is a f...k!" As Matecki writes: "And he asked if I had anything against it. I answered truthfully that I had something against it. He hit me, and then another PiS MP. He was taken away by the Marshal's Guard, and then by the police. It turned out to be the actor from "M jak Miłość" Jacek Kopczyński, who, as you can see from his profile, is ideologically profiled and has repeatedly attacked PiS".
Dariusz Matecki asks: "What's next? Will they send militias to Karol Nawrocki's rallies? Will they kill us?"
Jacek Kopczyński was under the influence of alcohol. The deputy from Szczecin was sober - he himself asked to be breathalysed.
Jacek Kopczyński sent a statement to Wirtualna Polska. He wrote in it that he visited the Sejm and had a nice conversation with politicians of different views. However: "At some point, there was a heated exchange of words between the people gathered in the Sejm restaurant, including myself and MP Matecki, which resulted in a collective scuffle. This exchange of words was unnecessary, but it was not of a nature that would in any way justify calling the services or the media's interest. Even as an experienced actor, I was convinced that the film phrase about the "truth of time and the truth of the screen" is extremely accurate. Each of the versions presented by MP Matecki in social media and traditional media (which differ from each other) has nothing to do with the actual course of yesterday's events."
The police have so far been sympathetic to the PiS MP's account. According to the media, Jacek Kopczyński has been charged with violating the physical integrity of Dariusz Matecki and Krzysztof Ciecióra. He faces up to three years in prison. ©℗

The PiS and Confederation MPs know how it was, because the actor may have imagined something because of the alcohol he drank. Even if MP Matecki's version differs from the actual course of events, he was not under the influence of alcohol and he is not accused of physical assault.
