Disoriented 84-year-old found in city
A concerned family reported the disappearance of an 84-year-old resident of Przemyśl. The woman was found thanks to the quick intervention of the police.
The disappearance of seniors is a growing social problem. Police officers encounter such situations more and more often. On Wednesday, May 14, such an incident occurred in Przemyśl. The Przemyśl police station was notified of the disappearance of an 84-year-old woman by her concerned family before 5 p.m. According to the reports of the elderly woman's relatives, the 84-year-old had left her home about two hours earlier without informing anyone. Since the woman required constant care, the family was very concerned about the whole situation and decided to take action.
The search was initiated by officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Przemyśl. Fortunately, the whole case had a happy ending – less than an hour after the report, the disoriented woman was found in Przemyśl.
"The officers took care of her and called an ambulance, and then the 84-year-old was handed over to the care of her family," Przemyśl police said.
