Lidia Nartowska is certainly proud, looking down on the entire host of her successors. Whole generations of dancers who with great passion, commitment and genuine enthusiasm created and continue to create the District Ballet Center in Jarosław named after her. On May 10 this year, the institution celebrated its 75th anniversary.

The celebrations began with a mass in the Collegiate Church of Corpus Christi, presided over by the parish priest, Rev. Prelate Marian Bocho, and concelebrated by Rev. Grzegorz Delmanowicz.

- Saint John Paul II once said that the purpose of a jubilee is to remember the past with gratitude, experience the present with joy and look to the future with hope. So today we remember this rich, wonderful past, because today we cannot fail to remember the founder of the ballet center, Lidia Nartowska. She was an outstanding teacher, a great dance enthusiast, a great friend of children and youth. A man with charisma, who in those very difficult times undertook to organize such an endeavor, included people who created and continued it, invited children who undertook great work to develop their talents.

After the Eucharist, the gathered people passed in a procession led by the youngest adepts and experienced graduates of the Hearth by the Museum in Jarosław, the Orsetti Tenement House, on the wall of which they could learn (in short) the history of the Hearth enclosed in interestingly designed boards. They passed the building, whose original owner was the Jewish Society "Yad Charuzim", which was purchased by the District Office in Jarosław, and which will be renovated and transferred to the District Ballet Hearth in Jarosław. The destination was the auditorium of the Jarosław Culture and Art Center, where the anniversary gala took place. It was an exceptional celebration of dance, music and beautiful memories. But also an unusual presentation of the relay of generations of the Ballet Hearth, which has been managed by Robert Drewniak for 4 years...
