Landscape audit. Local social organizations submitted applications for the project

A landscape audit is a document prepared at least once every 20 years for each province. Public consultations on the landscape audit project prepared by the Lower Silesian province were held until May 1. Local social organizations submitted applications for the project.
[middle1]The landscape audit is prepared by the Voivodeship Board and adopted by the Voivodeship Assembly in the form of a resolution. Its purpose is to indicate guidelines for shaping space with respect for natural and cultural resources and to counteract the irreversible loss of the most valuable landscape values.
As a result of the audit, objects with important aesthetic and emotional values, as well as unique, valuable for the quality of a given space, can also be identified. The document will also indicate threats to landscapes in the form of visual chaos, including advertising in public spaces and along roadways. Thanks to the study, indications for the provisions of the landscape resolution can be formulated, taking into account local architectural forms, including for publicly accessible spaces.
