"Le Monde" notes that Guillaume Faury , CEO of the European aerospace and arms company Airbus , is to travel to Poland in the coming weeks.
" Donald Tusk , more than ever, has reason to tighten cooperation with Airbus, which already employs 800 people in four locations in Poland," the daily points out.

Shares for a large order. Poland to buy European planes?"Le Monde" recalls that already during the previous PO government, Tusk and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski wanted to "anchor the country in the EU". At that time, the Polish press wrote about the possibility of Poland buying 1 to 2 percent of Airbus shares, and "in reality, even a 5 percent scenario was considered," the daily adds.
"However, the company and its shareholders want to talk about a large order first before deciding to sell the shares to Poland ," one of Le Monde's sources in the French government told Le Monde.

As the French newspaper writes, in the military area, Poland is considering buying two to four A330 MRTT aircraft, six to eight A400M military transporters and about twenty H145 helicopters. "Le Monde" claims that "LOT", which traditionally supplies itself with the American Boeing and the Brazilian Embraer, could also buy A220 aircraft.
"These civil and military orders could boost activity at the Airbus factory in Warsaw, which produces components for the A330 and A320 aircraft, as well as at the engineering centre in Łódź," the daily suggests.
