A shocking event took place on Saturday evening, June 7, on the famous Theresienwiese in Munich (Germany), known for the annual Oktoberfest beer festival. Unfortunately, this time this place of entertainment and joy became the scene of tragic events. A 30-year-old woman attacked with a knife, seriously wounding two people. The police shot the attacker.

Everything indicates that a 30-year-old woman attacked random people with a knife. The victims were a 56-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. Fortunately, their lives are not in danger.

The attacker was shot by the police who intervened . Unfortunately, despite being taken to hospital, she died from her injuries. The motive for her attack remains a mystery.

This is yet another case of a brutal attack in Germany in recent weeks. The dpa news agency recalls that less than two weeks ago, a similar incident occurred at the Hamburg train station, in which 18 people were injured. At that time, the attacker had previously received psychiatric treatment.

Munich authorities remind people that the city has a ban on carrying knives in certain public places, including large train stations.
