After the massive Russian airstrike on Kremenchuk, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening speech, said that by carrying out the attack, Russia "spits on everything that the international community is doing to end this war". - Right after the conversation between (Vladimir) Putin and (Donald) Trump. After the Americans asked us not to attack Russian energy facilities. At a time when Putin is trying to present himself as a mediator in the Middle East and is trying to somehow help his supporters in Tehran. It's so cynical - said the Ukrainian president. - This war could have ended long ago if the world (...) had not bought into Russian manipulations and lies - he added.
As a result of the attack, a residential building and farm buildings were damaged, reports the governor of the Kiev region, Mykola Kalashnik.
Ukrainian police evacuated three residents of Beryslav (a city in Kherson region) by armored vehicle to a town located further away from the front. The evacuees were two women (aged 54 and 65) and a man. They all lived on the same street. Beryslav is attacked by Russian drones almost daily.
Drones appeared, among others, over the Kiev region.
This information is provided by the local regional administration. 94 million hryvnias (approx. PLN 8.59 million) were allocated for the purchase of drones, communication equipment and electronic warfare kits.
The governor of the region, Ivan Fedorov, reports on the fire that broke out as a result of the Russian attack. Initial reports indicate that no one was hurt in the attack.
The 68th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia will be chaired by the speaker of the Russian Duma (lower house of parliament) Vyacheslav Volodin. The assembly is to adopt a position on the protection of "historical truth and preservation of the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The participants of the session will also discuss budget issues, including the report of the Council of Ministers of the Union State on the implementation of the budget for 2024.
Up to 40 ships and other surface vessels of the Russian Pacific Fleet, as well as more than 30 aircraft and helicopters, are taking part in the Pacific Fleet exercises taking place in the waters of the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk from June 16 to 30. The exercises are led by Fleet Commander Admiral Viktor Linna. During the exercises, the crews of the ships will train in detecting and tracking enemy submarines and protecting the ships from attacks from the water and air.
