SP 14 Przemyśl is the 12th team in Poland
The young players from the "fourteen" handball craft are learning at SRS Przemyśl under the watchful eye of coaches Piotr Kroczek and Przemysław Korobczak. Both also coach youngsters at SP 14 im. ONZej Europy in Przemyśl. They are all seventh-grade students, so they can also start at IMS next year.
In Piotrków Trybunalski they eventually took 12th place. Although they were younger than most of their rivals, they showed character, bravery and left their hearts on the court.
– It is not only the success of the school team, it is also the result of everyday work in the colors of SRS Przemyśl and participation in the Sportowy Orlen program, which supports the development of young talents
– said SRS president Robert Skawiński.
In the group stage, Przemyśl defeated SP 71 Szczecin 24:21 and SP 11 Puławy 18:11, and lost to SP 46 Wrocław 16:17 and SP 1 Banino 11:18. Such results allowed them to fight for places 9-12. In this phase, they lost all three matches, respectively with: SP 8 Białystok 17:23, SP 20 Grudziądz 15:25 and SP 3 Grodków 8:24.
The SP 14 Przemyśl team consisted of: Karol Głowniak, Igor Hajduk, Wiktor Harłacz, Aleksander Klein, Jakub Kulhawiec, Jakub Król-Łazor, Darian Mazur, Wiktor Milanik, Piotr Paniw, Wiktor Piątek, Julian Trojnar.
