Tomasz P. Terlikowski: Arousing hatred towards migrants is immoral

The images that Poles are spammed with are hard to accept. Here is a group of scantily clad migrants moving around the city, and the commentary is painfully predictable – they do not respect the rules, do not observe the rules of morality and feel at home. An image replicated a thousand times – and this also by official media, not just on social networks – arouses fear, which is further reinforced by the message that the problem is huge and that no one will defend us if we do not defend ourselves. Emotions are growing, and politicians, like seasoned surfers, are riding the wave and convincing us that tens of thousands of migrants are being pushed out of Germany and settled in Poland, and that it is necessary to counteract this.
