A breakthrough change in gas billing. Almost 1.5 million customers will benefit

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa announced that it intends to replace over 1.38 million traditional bellows gas meters with modern, intelligent measuring devices with a remote data reading function.

The company explains that the eGazomierz project will include:

• recipients from the 3rd tariff group,
• will be completely free for them,
• the exchange itself will start in August and will last until December next year.

New gas meters have a remote reading function for gas consumption , so the collector will no longer have to come to visit. Customers will be able to monitor their own gas consumption and - most importantly - pay only for consumption, not for forecasts.

This will increase the transparency of settlements, speed up the detection of possible irregularities and increase the level of security.
