Save the date for the climate debate!

The price of PGNiG Obrot Detaliczny gas has been lower by nearly 15 percent since July 1.

Gas in the tariff of PGNiG OD, the largest retail seller, has been cheaper by 14.8 percent since July 1 this year.

- the Energy Regulatory Office informed.

The President of the Energy Regulatory Office approved a new tariff in which the gas price will drop from the current PLN 239.65 per MWh to PLN 204.26 per MWh.

According to the regulations, households and public utility entities indicated in the Act, such as hospitals, schools, nurseries, kindergartens and shelters, are entitled to use the tariff price.

The new lower gas tariff will be valid throughout the year

As announced by the Energy Regulatory Office, the new PGNiG OD tariff will be valid for one year, until June 30, 2026. Subscription fee rates remained unchanged.

Because PGNiG OD customers, in addition to gas prices and subscription fees related to trading, also pay fees for the distribution of gas fuel.

This means that the downward changes in their bills will be smaller than the scale of the gas price reduction. According to URE estimates , bills will fall by 8-11 percent, depending on gas consumption.
