Ministry of Industry to stay in Silesia? Minister has no doubts

The Ministry of Industry will not move its headquarters from Katowice to Warsaw. It will remain in Silesia - this was the declaration made by the head of the ministry, Marzena Czarnecka, during a conversation with WNP, dispelling speculations appearing in the context of the announced government reconstruction.
- Of course, yes - answered Marzena Czarnecka unequivocally when asked whether the resort will remain in its current location.
Minister Czarnecka also referred to possible changes in the government as part of the announced reconstruction. Although, as she noted, the details are not yet known, the appointment of a plenipotentiary for energy infrastructure is almost certain.
The head of the ministry assured that regardless of the personnel changes in the government and who will be appointed to the position of plenipotentiary for energy infrastructure, the current policy regarding the development of Polish nuclear energy will be continued.
“Regardless of who takes over this role, they will continue the work we have already started,” she said.
The Minister of Industry also assured that the reconstruction will not delay the implementation of the Polish Nuclear Power Program.
