Details of the Israeli aircraft are secret , but it is known that it does not use only avionics supplied by the American manufacturer, which, by the way, is still having problems with its latest version of Block 4. After many problems, it is finally to start introducing new software in the summer of 2025.

Poland has purchased F-35 aircraft with new Block 4 software. This package will increase the performance of the on-board computer 25 times compared to the current one, and through new sensors and electronic warfare systems, as well as extensive weapons integration, it will give this aircraft completely new capabilities.

Israel is the only country in the world that can develop the F-35 on its own

The Israeli F-35I already has modern software . This American software has been replaced with Israeli software, increasing the data analysis capabilities of the on-board computer, which increases the operational independence of the aircraft. Other electronic and electronic warfare systems, which increase the ability to jam enemy radars, are also Israeli-made.

The Israeli company Elbit supplies these devices. The company also provides the aircraft with navigation and communication systems. Israel has also developed additional underslung fuel tanks that increase the aircraft's operational range.

It can even introduce changes to the structure of the aircraft's fuselage or perform such complex repairs as replacing the wings, the production of which has also been launched in Israel.

The F-35I Adir is also integrated with missiles and bombs that Israel produces, such as the modern bunker-penetrating SPICE bombs. It is also significant that these aircraft are serviced and overhauled by Israeli industry. And the costs of this are horrendous.

The F-35I Adir is tailored to the specific needs of the Israeli Air Force.

For example, Poland bought 32 F-35 aircraft for PLN 10 billion. Their operation and maintenance throughout their life cycle may cost as much as PLN 40 billion. In the event of war, Israel may have its external equipment supply chain interrupted.

That is why repairs and modernizations of Adirs are done in Israel, which also orders and stores spare parts in warehouses in the country, of which it has a large stock. No other country in the world has such privileges.

Thanks to these modifications, the F-35I Adir is now one of the most advanced fighters in the world, adapted to the specific needs of the Israeli Air Force, capable of conducting operations in difficult conditions and against modern air defense systems.

The attack on Iran in retaliation for that country's missile and drone bombardment of Israel, as well as the recent attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, is proof of the effectiveness of these aircraft. All Israeli aircraft sent against Iran returned home safely.
