The 800+ program provides financial support to millions of families with children in Poland every month. August will be no different. As a reminder, the benefit is available for children up to 18 years of age, regardless of the family's income.

800 plus in August 2025. When will it be paid?

As we reported in June, a new payment deadline for the 800+ benefit has been established since July of this year . On the 24th of the month, the money is paid to new beneficiaries who did not previously receive the child benefit, as well as to Ukrainian citizens who came to Poland due to the war.

Therefore, in August, benefits should be paid on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, and 24th of the month. It should be emphasized that ZUS strives to ensure that all beneficiaries receive their payments on time – therefore, it transfers the funds to the bank in advance, and if payment dates fall on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays during the month, they are paid on the last business day preceding that date.

Who will receive double 800+ payments in August?

On June 1, 2025, a new settlement period for the 800 plus program began , which will last until May 31, 2026. Therefore, parents and guardians wishing to receive this benefit had to re-submit applications.

For those who submitted their applications by the end of April 2025, there was no interruption in payments if the applications did not require an investigation, meaning the first month's payments were made in June. Parents and guardians who submitted their applications in May received their June payments in July, along with the benefit for that month.

If beneficiaries submitted their applications correctly in June, they will receive their benefits by the end of August, along with any compensation for previous months. However, those who missed the deadline to submit their applications by the end of June will not receive any compensation for previous months.

It is worth emphasizing, however, that this does not apply to parents who have just had a child, as they have three months to submit an application after the child's birth and if they do it on time, they will receive the compensation.

How to apply for 800 plus?

The application for the 800 plus child benefit is submitted to ZUS exclusively electronically via the PUE/eZUS platform, electronic banking, the mZUS mobile application, and the Emp@tia information and service portal.
