Another former national representative will work with Norwegian ski jumpers
Norway has put together a new ski jumping coaching team and after hiring Rune Velta as head coach, he was joined by second coach Anders Fannemel and suit manager Sigurd Soeberg.
The previous team of head coach Magnus Brevik, his assistant Thomas Lobben and tailor Adrian Livelten parted ways with the Norwegian Ski Federation (NSF) in May following the suit-tampering scandal at the World Championships in Trondheim.

Both Velta and Fannemel have coaching education, which they obtained after finishing their careers.
Velta has just completed a two-year stint with the Swiss national team, while Fannemel was most recently sports director at the Lillehammer Ski Club.
Velta, now 35, was a sensation at the 2015 World Championships in Falun, winning four medals, two gold, a silver and bronze, while 34-year-old Fannemel, who ended his career in 2023, won the team gold medal in ski flying (2016) and the team gold and silver medal at the World Championships (2015 and 2017).
”Now we have a new training team with well-known and respected names in the industry,” emphasized Jan-Erik Aalbu, head of ski jumping at NSF.
