Football. 4 minutes left for Dawn's victory...

In the duel of teams with a chance to fight in the play-offs for promotion to the top league, the guests from distant Rzeszów had a slight optical advantage, but considering that the team from Skolwin was leading until the 86th minute, the division of points left the team from Szczecin quite dissatisfied...

Second football league: ŚWIT Szczecin - RESOVIA Rzeszów 1:1 (0:0); 1:0 Dawid Kort (64), 1:1 Radosław Adamski (86).

DAWN: Jakub Raczykowski - Szymon Nowicki (74 Damian Ciechanowski), Rafal Remisz, Krzysztof Janiszewski, Jedrzej Góral, Kacper Nowak - Bartlomiej Kasprzak, Kacper Wojdak (46 Aron Stasiak), Dawid Kort (90 Alan Dziuniak) - Grzegorz Aftyka (74 Oskar Kalenik), Krzysztof Ropski

Yellow cards: Stasiak - Kornel Rębisz. Referee: Filip Kaliszewski (Gdańsk). Spectators 550.

The Rzeszów team (coached by Piotr Kołc, a former Pogoń Szczecin player, and in the line-up we saw export Gracjan Jaroch) had more possession of the ball, had more shots, and had an advantage in accurate shots and corner kicks, which satisfied their most loyal fans, almost 30 of whom travelled across the country to cheer on their beloved team, which also put the Szczecin police on their feet, because we saw many officers with dogs and a special vehicle for transporting four-legged animals.

In the first half we saw a shot just above the crossbar by Remisz, an atomic free kick by Kort (unfortunately no one reached the rebound) and a slightly off target attempt by the aforementioned former porter just near the post. There were many more shots at the second goal, but Raczykowski defended well, and once with difficulty he threw the ball over the crossbar and was also helped by field players (one of them paid for it with a real knockout, taking a hit on the head, and Góral cleared the ball from the goal line).

After the break, the game evened out a bit, and in the 64th minute, the Szczecin team took the lead when Kort developed the action and passed it to Aftyka, who cleverly controlled the ball, passing it to Ropski, who passed it to the initiator of the attack, who scored a goal for Świt with a precise, technical shot that almost touched the post. The team from Skolwin wanted to maintain their modest lead and retreated a bit, and Resovia gained the advantage. In the 72nd minute, Rajczykowski intuitively defended a dangerous close-range shot by the very active reserve Dawid Bałdyga, who a few minutes later was one-on-one with the Szczecin goalkeeper and beat him, but from a very acute angle he was unable to make an effective shot. Unfortunately, in the 86th minute after a cross into the penalty area (if there was an offside there, but there is no VAR in the 2nd league, and it is difficult to question the referees' decisions from the stands) and passing the ball, the stopper Adamski equalized from a dozen or so meters. A moment before the equalizer and a few minutes after it, the guests complained about handballs in the Szczecin penalty area, but the referee had a different opinion on the subject. In added time, both teams still had a small chance to tip the scales of victory in their favor and it was after throw-ins; first, Remisz's ricocheted shot was saved by Jakub Tetyk, and in the last minute, Maciej Kowalski-Haberek's so-called center shot missed the post. ©℗
