He was just behind the podium of the Orlen Race of Nations. And so he had reason to be happy
The Orlen Race of Nations has entered a key phase. On Friday, the cyclists had to ride 138.8 km from Ustrzyki Dolne to Hotel Arłamów. The competition was extremely interesting, and the loop through Gruszowa, Kłokowice and Kalwaria Pacławska turned out to be decisive. It was there that a 4-person breakaway group formed, which reached the finish line. The stage was won by the Dane Tobias Svarre, and Marco Schrettl took fourth place. Despite being just behind the podium, the Austrian was full of joy, because this position allowed him to become the new leader of the race. However, he will have to be careful on Saturday, because his advantage over the second Ludovico Mellano is only 40 seconds!
