The Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie volleyball players will play in the Champions League final for the first time in the club's history. They advanced by beating JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3:2 (19:25, 18:25, 25:20, 25:19, 22:20) in the semi-finals of the Final Four LM held in Łódź. The Zawiercie team's opponent in the gold medal match will be Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, which defeated Halkbank Ankara 3:0 the day before.

The Polish semi-final was a great spectacle. Suffice it to say that Jastrzębski was already leading 2:0 and had one foot in the final. Then, however, the Zawiercie team showed incredible character and made up for the losses. By winning two sets, they led to a tie-break. In it, however, they kept their cool and won - after an advantage game - 22:20.
