Iga Świątek's disaster in Madrid! It looked terrible

Once again, in a short space of time, Iga Świątek lost a set on clay courts very clearly. This time, she clashed with Danielle Collins on clay. The American crushed the Pole in the first set of the third round match of the WTA 1000 in Rome, winning 6:1 in just 34 minutes.

It must be admitted that the Pole almost did not win at least one game in the clash with Collins. The American lost a game on her serve at the very end, with the score 5:0 in her favor – concluding it with a double service fault.

However, this does not change the fact that such a clear loss in the opening game in Rome is a big disappointment from the Polish perspective. Świątek is defending her championship title in the Italian capital.
