As reported by Catalan "Sport", the club has decided to abandon the search for Lewandowski's successor, thus giving the Polish player the opportunity to extend his contract. Under this contract, he would remain with the team led by Hansi Flick until June 2027.
For now, it seems that Barcelona's squad is optimal and additional reinforcements in the striker position are unnecessary. The German coach currently has Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo at his disposal. Both have been in great form recently and could easily replace Lewandowski.
