Lukas Podolski has chosen the ideal coach for the Polish national team

Lukas Podolski has chosen the ideal coach for the Polish national team

— I've said several times in interviews that Jan Urban is a good candidate for coach. He has a good approach to football, he can build relationships between people and he has that Spanish ease — says Lukas Podolski in an interview with Goal.pl.

The 2014 world champion had the opportunity to work with the 63-year-old coach at Górnik Zabrze, whose name is mentioned among the candidates to replace Michał Probierz as the coach of the Polish national team. Podolski, however, believes that the problem lies much deeper.

Lukas Podolski has no doubts. "It's still weak in this area"

— In vision and quality. Ok, there are footballers, there are many new stadiums, new training bases are being built, but there is a lack of quality off the pitch. Coaches in the juniors or people managing the club. In this area, it is still weak — says Lukas Podolski.
