Nick Kyrgios will no longer be BBC pundit at Wimbledon

The Australian tennis player joined the Wimbledon commentary team last year after knee and wrist injuries sidelined him for the tournament. At the time, the network defended its decision despite criticism for hiring the 30-year-old, who has admitted to abusing his former partner.

According to The Telegraph, the BBC has dropped Kyrgios' services. A similar decision was made by the American station ESPN, which also worked with the tennis player during last year's edition.

The Australian has withdrawn from all grass-court events this year as he recovers from an injury, meaning he is unlikely to appear at Wimbledon in any capacity.
