Novak Djokovic advances to the second round of Wimbledon

Sixth-seeded Serb Novak Djokovic defeated Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-1, 6-7 (7-9), 6-2, 6-2 in the first round of the Wimbledon Grand Slam. His next opponent will be the hosts' Daniel Evans.
The Serb admitted that he struggled with stomach problems during the match.
Djokovic holds the record for the most Grand Slam tournament wins - 24. He has triumphed at Wimbledon seven times so far.
Evans eliminated his compatriot Jay Clarke, winning convincingly 6-1, 7-5, 6-2.
The 2025 Wimbledon Main Draw began on June 30. The previous week was set aside for the main draw qualifiers. The men's grand final is scheduled for July 13, and the women's a day earlier - July 12.
