PGE Start Lublin played an excellent match and defeated Trefl Sopot in the third semi-final match

The Lublin team has managed to overcome almost all of its problems. On Monday afternoon, they were not bothered by fatigue from a difficult season or the heat in the Globus arena. Even Nicholas Johnson, who hurt them so badly in match number 2, was not a problem for them.
The hosts set the tone for the competition from the start and played brilliantly at times. They shared the ball very well, and their shot selection was top-notch. They also kept their cool in key moments. By the end of the third quarter they were already leading 67:59, and some of the fans had already managed to herald their favorites' victory.
However, it was definitely too early for that, because the fourth part was a real rollercoaster of emotions. It started with negative ones, when Trefl made up for all the losses and in the 34th minute took a one-point lead. After 3 minutes, Start was again leading quite clearly (79:72). Then Johnson woke up for a moment, and his individual performances made the scoreboard equal again. The last actions, however, belonged to Brown, who first with an accurate "three-pointer" and later with flawless free throws gave Start the victory.
The American scored a total of 17 points, the lion's share of which came in the final quarter. Earlier, Emmanuel Lecomte had a good point total, also scoring 17 points. Marcus Weathers stood out from the opposition, scoring 16 points.
