Photos from Polish Football Association meetings have leaked. Did Cezary Kulesza do it again?

Over the past few days, it seemed that Jan Urban was once again the frontrunner in the race to coach the Polish national team. But is that really the case? Admittedly, there are still some serious doubts. This time, it's due to the sensational photos published by journalists from "Super Express."

Is the Polish Football Association preparing a sensational turnaround? Jerzy Brzęczek and Jacek Magiera in the headquarters!

What exactly are we talking about? It turns out that the former coach of Górnik Zabrze , who was a Polish national team player years ago and is currently on vacation in Spain, may not be the only option the head of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) has for filling the coaching position.

Cezary Kulesza is notorious for his ability to lose track and mislead the public, especially journalists, when it comes to selecting the Polish national team coach. This has been the case every time in the recent past. When it seemed that Adam Nawałka would return to the job in early 2022, the Polish Football Association (PZPN) (led by Kulesza) opted for Czesław Michniewicz.

Another solution? Fernando Santos, the 2016 European champion, whom few expected—for a fortune, we might add—to join the Polish national team. Michał Probierz? This wasn't an obvious solution either; back then, Marek Papszun, celebrating his great triumphs with Raków Częstochowa, was given more chances. And yet, no, Probierz, better known to Kulesza, turned out to be an idea that, as it turned out, wasn't very successful in the long run.

What will happen this time? President Kulesza may be preparing another interesting option that will shake up the community. As shown in photos published on the "Super Express" website, Jacek Magiera and Jerzy Brzęczek were supposed to appear at the PZPN headquarters. These were two coaches who were considered in the race for the manager's position, but who have been ruled out in recent days in favor of the previously suggested Jan Urban.

It's also possible that in Magiera's case, he's more of a member of the coaching staff than a starting point guard for the national team. "Magic" knows Urban very well, having worked together in the past, so that's one possibility. A buzzer? A potential assistant coach is unlikely to be an option here.

As you can see, the next days of the selection saga… are still ahead of us.
