Rafael Nadal comes to Carlos Alcaraz's defense

The new Netflix documentary sees the 22-year-old partying in Ibiza. Such visits during the season have not gone down well with much of the public. Although the Spaniard celebrated his victories at the French Open and Wimbledon in this way, some argue that these trips have contributed to his fluctuating form of late.

In an interview with L'Equipe, Nadal admitted that the series is far from reality. " I know Carlos a little bit and I think the documentary doesn't reflect his reality or how he manages his career. He doesn't look like a player who trains, but who parties and isn't professional, and that's not true." The 37-year-old added that Alcaraz works very hard and takes his game and physicality to a higher level.
