A malfunction occurred on the plane from Poland to Egypt. It suddenly started circling.

The incident occurred last Tuesday evening (July 8th). Enter Air, a Polish passenger plane ENT4361, a charter airline typically used by travel agencies, was flying tourists from Warsaw to Marsa Alam in Egypt. At one point, it began circling over Nowy Sącz. This was due to a malfunction. Safety concerns necessitated swift action.

Polish plane crashes

After briefly circling over Małopolska, the crew decided to turn the plane around and land in Katowice. The problem turned out to be a malfunction in the aircraft's windshield heating system. While the issue turned out to be minor, ignoring it could have put many people at risk. Information sent by airline representatives to the radio station indicated that the plane needed to burn off some of its fuel before landing, which is why it was circling.

The strange actions alarmed internet users, who could see the entire process on the flight tracking website Flightradar 24. The plane appeared to have stopped flying in a straight line and was constantly making the same movements on the map, spinning in circles. These types of maneuvers always raise concerns, indicating that something wasn't going according to plan. The matter was resolved shortly thereafter, and the tourists landed safely in Katowice around 9 p.m.

Airport spokesman Piotr Adamczyk emphasized in an interview with Interia that, despite everything, it was not an emergency landing. "The crew did not report the need for emergency assistance," he emphasized.

What about Enter Air passengers?

The passengers were taken from Katowice to Egypt on a completely different plane. The plane was ready to take over and continue their journey. " The luggage will be repacked, and this new plane will fly back to Egypt," the spokesman explained. He reported that the entire process took about an hour and a half, as 2.5 tons of checked baggage were waiting to be repacked.

It is not known exactly what time the passengers managed to reach Egypt , but it was probably after midnight.
