Adriane Galisteu opens her heart when talking about her mother: 'I don't like to see time passing'

Throughout her career, Adriane Galisteu (52) has become an expert at breaking taboos. Always holding her head high, she proved to Brazil the extent of her strength and talent. Unafraid to speak her mind, the presenter attended the winter season of CARAS in Campos do Jordão, in the mountains of São Paulo, alongside her husband Alexandre Iodice (53) and her son, Vittorio (14).

On the cover of this week's CARAS Magazine , Adriane Galisteu opened her heart when talking about her mother, Emma Galisteu , and how she's coping with the family matriarch's aging. The presenter responds.

"My mother's aging is difficult for me. Seeing her grow old and go through this process of becoming a child again is difficult. She depends on me, on my affection, on my attention, but she also depends on the basics," he declares .

Aging is not the same as finitude!

Adriane Galisteu mentions that there's a difference between finitude and aging. However, she emphasizes that she has no problem with maturing: " The problem is finitude. I don't like seeing time passing and seeing that you're closer to the end than the beginning," she says . The artist observes that her mother has become different in recent years.

"I deal with it badly, very badly! People confuse aging with finitude. I think aging sucks, I just accept it. But it's important to be clear that I don't think gray hair, lack of collagen, a saggy butt, wrinkles are bad, because you can fix all of that, use toxins, pull, diet [...] For me, it's difficult to manage this and I can see it from my mother, who changes every day, and from Vittorio, who also grows very quickly," concludes presenter Adriane Galisteu.
