Alcoutim Senior University's academic year ends with dinner, exhibition and academic tuna

Alcoutim Senior University celebrated the end of the academic year with a gathering that combined creativity, sharing, and music.
More than a hundred participants, including students, trainers and partners, attended a moment designed to recognize everything that has been experienced over the last few months.
The celebration began with a visit to the Carlos Brito Municipal Library, where an exhibition of works produced throughout the year was on display.
Painting, macramé, Arraiolos, embroidery and other handicrafts were highlighted, revealing the talent, dedication and desire to learn that marked the participants' journey.
For many, it was an opportunity to show what they had rediscovered, or learned for the first time.
A convivial dinner followed at Espaço Guadiana, prepared by the Casa Mirela restaurant, where flavors, stories, and laughter were shared. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, as befits a gathering of those who, over the course of the year, have become more than just colleagues.
To close, the performance by Versus Tuna—Tuna Académica da Universidade do Algarve— brought music, humor, and academic spirit. The performance was enthusiastically received and symbolically marked the connection between generations.
This meeting marked the end of another academic year promoted by the Senior University of Alcoutim, a project developed in partnership with the Odiana Association , the Alcoutim City Council and Alcance.
More than a learning space, the Senior University establishes itself as a meeting point for sharing knowledge, socializing, and promoting active aging.
