Bahia dominates The Strongest and Ceni plans upcoming challenges in the Libertadores

After the convincing 3-0 victory over The Strongest, which guaranteed Bahia 's qualification for the third phase of the Libertadores preliminary round, coach Rogério Ceni highlighted the team's performance and the importance of the result.

"Spurred on by our fans, we managed to impose our rhythm and control the match from the start. The players showed commitment and understood the importance of this match," said Ceni.

The coach also praised the individual performance of some athletes, such as Ademir, who scored two goals in the match. "Ademir was decisive. His speed and accuracy in finishing made the difference. It is gratifying to see the results of daily work reflected on the field," he commented.

Ceni also stressed the importance of maintaining concentration for the upcoming challenges. "We have moved forward another stage, but we know that the journey is long. We need to maintain focus and intensity to achieve our goals in the competition," concluded the coach.

Ceni highlighted the team's performance and projected the next steps in the competition. "I hope to be here on the 12th to do a new interview with Bahia in the group stage. My dream now is to see Bahia among the teams that play six games in the group stage," said the coach.

Ceni also stressed the importance of valuing the team's performance, especially considering the difficulties faced in previous matches. "We know about the difficulties, you see favorite teams being left out of the competitions, like Boca (Juniors, eliminated by Alianza Lima on penalties) today. We have to value what was done, especially up there at altitude," he commented.

With qualification assured, Bahia now awaits the winner of the match between Ñublense, from Chile, and Boston River, from Uruguay, to define its next opponent in the search for a place in the group stage of the Libertadores.
