CACIAL celebrates 60 years of history with documentary

CACIAL – Cooperativa Agrícola de Citricultores do Algarve , celebrates this year 60 years of history, cooperation and commitment to national citrus farming.

To mark this milestone, a commemorative documentary will be released on August 1st at 9:00 pm, available on the cooperative's YouTube channel , paying tribute to the many voices that built the journey.

The documentary delves into the essence of CACIAL over six decades, revealing the human side of the cooperative and the profound impact it has had on the lives of hundreds of workers, members and partners.

Through real testimonies, from the founders to current employees, the documentary covers the decisive moments, the challenges faced and the values ​​that guided the growth of the cooperative.

With an average annual production of 40 thousand tons of citrus fruits, CACIAL is one of the most important agricultural cooperatives in the country, playing a fundamental role in the economic dynamism of the Algarve region and in the international projection of Portuguese citrus farming.

“This documentary aims, above all, to honor the people behind the numbers, to give space to memory and to project the future of a sector in constant evolution”, according to the cooperative.

In this sense, in the coming weeks, teaser videos and special content will be released on CACIAL's social networks, revealing short excerpts from the documentary, behind-the-scenes curiosities and messages from the protagonists of this story.
