Cambodia and Thailand to meet in Malaysia on Monday for peace talks

Thailand's acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai and Cambodia's prime minister Hun Manet will meet in Malaysia on Monday to hold peace talks over border fighting, Bangkok said on Sunday (27).

The Thai prime minister's office said the talks in Kuala Lumpur aim to "restore peace" and will be mediated by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who holds the temporary presidency of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
