Children from Lagoa live summer to the fullest during the sports holidays at ADR Quinta de São Pedro

Sports Holidays once again livened up the summer in the municipality of Lagoa. Between July and August, the Sports and Recreation Association ( ADR )/Cultural and Social Center of Quinta de São Pedro provided many children with days filled with recreational, educational, and sports activities in a safe and supervised environment. For families, the program represented an important response during the school vacation period.

The initiative, held at Mexilhoeira da Carregação Elementary School, has a long tradition and is recognized with the Summer Camp Quality Seal, awarded by the Sports-Friendly Municipality program. This recognition recognizes the trust families and partners have in the organization.

During the summer, young participants were able to experience trips to the beach and pool, rock climbing, canoeing, judo, badminton, team games, campfires and visits to the Monchique Swimming Pools, Mina Park and Zoomarine. The closing ceremony brought together all the groups at Herdade Bonanza, on a special day of socializing.

The ADR would like to thank the municipality of Lagoa and the Rio Arade School Group for providing the facilities and logistical support, and also recognizes the commitment of the team of employees, the trust of families and the contribution of partners for a summer "full of positive experiences."
