Collision leaves two injured

The collision resulted in two injuries and they were taken to the hospital in Vila Real.

One of the victims was trapped and firefighters had to perform extrication maneuvers to remove him, Cruz Verde's commander, Ricardo Costa, explained to VTM.

The alert was raised at 2:45 p.m. Fifteen firefighters from Cruz Verde, Cruz Branca, the VMER team, and the PSP (Public Security Police) were involved in assisting the victims.
