Defendant named for buying stolen quad bike

A 51-year-old man was charged on the 17th for having purchased a vehicle that had been stolen in the municipality of Alijó, which is considered receiving stolen goods. The 4-wheeler was reportedly purchased from the suspects of the theft, two 16-year-old youths, who were identified by the Guard's military personnel.
The GNR of Alijó investigated the theft of a quad bike and, in police investigations, identified and located the suspects, who, the security force also found, stole the vehicle and later sold the motorcycle to a third party.
The operation led to the recovery of the quad bike, identification of two suspects, both 16 years old, for theft, and the constitution of the 51-year-old man as a defendant for receiving stolen goods.
The facts were reported to the Alijó Judicial Court.
