Israel rejects negotiations with Iran

Israel on Wednesday refused to negotiate with Iran and said it would continue the military offensive dubbed "Lion Rising" by the army until its objectives were achieved.

“There will be no negotiations. The operation will continue until we achieve our objectives,” said Israeli foreign minister Gideon Saar, quoted by Spanish news agency EFE.

According to the same agency, the official made these statements during an information meeting with more than 30 foreign ambassadors.

Saar also accused Iran of “deliberately targeting populated areas and killing civilians” and that the country is “making a mistake” by underestimating the strength and widespread support of the Israeli people.
