Guarda City Council will sign a protocol to use the NERGA Pavilion

Guarda City Council will sign a protocol to use the NERGA Pavilion

The Guarda City Council will sign a protocol with a view to using the multipurpose pavilion of NERGA – Business Association of the Guarda Region for holding events. The point related to the signing of the agreement for the transfer of that space was approved at the municipal executive meeting on 9 June.

The agreement will allow the NERGA pavilion to be available throughout the year for activities promoted by the Municipality and the community.

The Mayor, Sérgio Costa, said that this is a very important agreement, at a time when preparations are underway to launch a competition for ideas for the future multipurpose pavilion and Sports City, which will be located in the city's downtown area. The Mayor added that this is a process that will take years and that is why he believes it is important for the city to have a multipurpose space, even if it is small in size.
