José Luís Carneiro says that local authorities “are a pillar of territorial cohesion”
At the Hotel Miracorgo, José Luís Carneiro said that he wants to “rebuild the strength of the PS” to reinforce the party’s presence in “local authorities and in all local communities in the country”.
“I have come to bring three fundamental ideas. We must assert a firm opposition in defence of our values and principles, but one that is also responsible and constructive”. Another idea is to “present our proposals for defending these values and fundamental principles of the State in defending and enhancing the response to health, housing and wages, in order to improve the living conditions of our fellow citizens”.
The only candidate for the leadership of the socialists also said that he had come to talk about an idea for the future. “How can we prepare Portugal with the European funds from the 2030 framework?
